Educate & Inform

In 2010 I survived a ruptured brain aneurysm and am grateful for the love and support of friends, family, and especially all the resources of the BAF website.

Please join me in support of my survival by walking with me on the BayWalkers Team along the beautiful San Francisco Bay on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Although this walk is sponsored by The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation, I believe that any education, information, and research we can generate will help shed a light on brain aneurysms and other related concerns.

My goal is to help educate others and provide any assistance possible, so that my story of survival becomes the norm for all that unknowingly suffer from this deadly condition. Please see my story and share with others: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/lindabattlesNorCAL/6th-annual-taaf-awareness-walk

Wonderful that you are doing this...I admire those that step up and help educate others about aneurysm's...

I am not at this point ... but someday...

Good Luck...!

Linda,

Iam delighted for your involvement in the TAAF walk...wish I could be there to join you.

TAAF is an impressive site... I found it some years back; the staff was so helpful answering some questions; and, their site detail is impressive.

Linda, did you have AVM or aneurysm?

Pat

I had a ruptured aneurysm just over exactly one year ago. I didn't even know about the TAAF organization, until I found out that my support group in Sacramento CA was associated to it and was sent the information on this walk. (All along I thought the support group was sponsored by the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!)

So far my questions and concerns have all been answered by this wonderful support community here at the BAF!

You have the benefit of both BAF and TAAF…
