I am so sorry to hear that you collapsed while visiting your grandmother’s burial site. You have been through so much, and my heart goes out to you. You have provided us with a lens into some of your deeply frightening experiences, thank-you.
You mentioned “The New Normal,” and you are quite right- this does seem to come up often in this community. You are certainly not alone. So many community members will be able to relate to aspects of your story. Perhaps connecting with others who have walked a similar path will provide you with support and encouragement as you adjust to your New Normal.
One step at a time, but I do hope you find yourself back on the diamond soon.
