Hi I had a cerebral Annie rupture in 1998 survived that and now was just told that I have an aortic aneurism. Has anyone else had multiple aneurisms in more than one place?

Good morning Constance! I moved your topic from the BAF news to General.
I’ve read many times and been told many times (once by my Urologist who was trying to explain what a rupture was 
) that we can form aneurysms anywhere in the body. My Cardiologist says if I had one in my heart it’s a very similar process to fix it as in the brain. What are the plans for your aortic aneurysm?

Hi no plans as of yet, we will be watching it testing every 6 mos to see if it is growing and how fast it grows. If it grows we will have surgery as an option. That option I’m not thrilled with since I’ve already had a major surgery with my Brain Anny.
So we wait!

Hi, Yes I had a brain aneurysm had surgery and never had any issue but now I to have an aortic aneurysm and is growing in size

Thanks for the reply. Mine isn’t growing yet and it’s very small, so we are waiting to see what it does in another 6 months.

Mine was noticed before Covid and didn’t do anything during height of Covid it was 3.9 after Covid it grew to 4.2 and now 4.6 when 4.9 -5.0 it’s time for surgery. How are you feeling from aneurysm surgery. Let’s keep in touch it’s good to have people support each other feel well & be well. Where did you live

Bob, Mine is under 2cm atm, I feel great, 20 years ago I went through my surgery to repair a ruptured brain aneurysm. I’m good! I’m in Livonia, Michigan (Detroit Metro), and living the dream. LOL
After my aneurysm ruptured, I divorced, got back to work and formed a rock band called
