@Romona717 is in Virginia, United States. Tina was watching a movie with her family and after, when they turned the lights on, her head was in excruciating pain. She went to the hospital where she learned she had five aneurysms. She has been treated for three with stents and coils, but still has a small one in the back of her head.
@Salma is in Casablanca, Morocco. Salma’s mom had a ruptured aneurysm three weeks ago and it was recently treated via clipping, where her mother is now recovering.
@phi_pik is in Wales, United Kingdom. Phil was 26 when he had his first rupture which was glued post hemorrhage, where he is still working through the symptoms. He still has a second aneurysm that has yet to be treated.
@mjwyogini is in Massachusetts, United States. Marsha was informed after a MRA that she has a small aneurysm in the IVC area. She is still waiting to learn more about the next steps.
@donna1966 is in Illinois, United States. Donna’s doctors found she had a stroke and also has a brain aneurysm. She is considering surgery and she is meeting with the doctors to discuss options.
@Peraltae is in New York, United States. In May 2023, Evelyn was found in the bathroom with a very weak pulse. She was taken to the nearest hospital, where they discovered she had ruptured. She was transferred to a hospital that had a neurologist, where she stayed for about a month, had brain surgery, and completed rehab to regain movement in her left side of her body. She still experiences throbbing on her head in extreme temperatures.
@EarthTone is Minnesota, United States. In 2023, Brad started to see double-vision looking left. An MRI in the ER showed a 2.6 cm GBA behind the right eye, right carotid artery. A flex pipeline embolization device was placed and he was on Brilinta and Aspirin for 6 months. The scan also showed either demyelination sites or possibly transient ischemic attack, but were “old” and he had never had an MRI of the head before. After stopping the Brilinta, he started seeing streaks of light periodically happening. He started seeing a neurologist for possible multiple sclerosis, and was told to keep a journal to narrow down the triggers of the light streaks. He still has these streaks of light more or less at least once a day.
@Sursan is in New South Wales, Australia. Sursan was diagnosed with two aneurysms: 5 mm and 2 mm.
