Just wondering if any of y’all are chronic marijuana users or were, I have been smoking marijuana since I was 15. I am now 44. I am postop one week today. They told me to stop smoking marijuana one day prior to my procedure, but they never said when I could resume use as I don’t like to drink, and I don’t smoke cigarettes, I just vape marijuana.
Best to ask your surgeon, one never knows until they ask. But to answer your question, I’m allergic to what folks here in NC can get, wasn’t allergic to what was available in CA back in the late 70’s early 80’s when Maui Wowie and Humboldt’s Finest were the ones to get. Was able to get some from Humboldt sent to my Uncle when he was being treated for brain cancer so he’d eat. I knew a guy when I accidentally rode my horse into his field. Had to talk him into not blind folding the horse to get us out of his field. He’d set trip wires and was amazed the horse didn’t hit them. We had a nice conversation, he’d been to Vietnam, my brother was a Marine with similar MOS too and that helped a lot, fed me lunch and told me to go back to Chico, it would be safer for the both of us. He even gave me his phone number to call him when we got back so he would know I got home safe. When my Aunt asked if I could get something for him, he was the first one I thought of and would meet me halfway to send some of his best product to send down to San Diego once a month. Thanks for taking me down memory lane, I often forget about him since I ruptured.
