28 January 2025 - Welcome 7 New Members!

Hello everyone! I hope these past couple weeks have treated you well. Please help me welcome 7 new members to our community!

@Absynith is in Mississippi, United States. Marla was originally diagnosed with PTSD with somatic symptoms and 2 years later, an MRI showed a 10 mm x 6 mm aneurysm on her left optic nerve on ICA, and not PTSD. She had surgery in December with a pipeline embolization device.

@Kayieta25 is in Illinois, United States. Miriam had a “thunderclap” headache for 2 days while home alone and eventually went to the emergency department. The doctors found a 9 mm cerebral aneurysm rupture with 2 small strokes, 4 brain bleeds, and a potential heart attack. She later had a 4 mm unruptured aneurysm clipped and is scheduled for another brain surgery for a chiari 1 mutation.

@Rdan is in Georgia, United States. Rachel had surgery for her aneurysm.

@Irene1977 is in Maryland, United States. 2 years ago Irene had increasing issues with migraines and had an MRA, finding an unruptured aneurysm. They have since been following the aneurysm, but it has increased in size and she recently had an angiogram.

@tahara05 is in Ohio, United States. Tara had an MRI for headaches and found a high-risk 4 mm anterior communicating artery unruptured aneurysm. She is set for surgery next month and wants to know if anyone has done the WEB or Seal IT trial.

@sissy is in Indiana, United States. Michelle had an aneurysm fan in 2005 and it ruptured in 2011. She had to have a craniotomy and was in a coma for two days. She had made a good recovery but is now experiencing memory and balance problems.

@emmav630 is in Arizona, United States. At 21, Emily was diagnosed with a 3 mm aneurysm and had coiling done in November 2023, and she has been aneurysm free since June 2024.
