17 mm Aneurysm in Anterior Inferior Cerebellar Artery (AICA) Treated Endovascularly by Flow Diverter 10/13/22

I wanted to add a two pictures of my aneurysm – the giant testicle. In the first, the angiogram, you can see the strange right angle that the neurosurgeon had to work the flow diverter around. Just below the “berry” (or “testicle”), is my RIGHT anterior inferior cerebellar artery. I.e., with NO aneurysm what the artery is supposed to look like. The upper one with the berry is my left AICA. When I saw this, I felt I needed to do something quickly.
BTW, I believe that I got my aneurysm from trauma. I believe the origin of it was a surfing accident I had 35 years ago, and that it all probably weakened during covid. My neurosurgeon said that this artery in rare cases can bang against the temporal bone at the base of the skull. I think that’s what happened during my surfing accident, thus setting the groundwork for a later aneurysm.
