?

my frozen shoulder isnt frozen, xrays showing hole in tissues, they are calling it something arthropathy?? any one heard of this? i guess the 2 yrs of stretchings, lasers stims and ultrasounds was for naught, im really disgusted and now going for hip, foot x rays and fear thats arthropathy too??

Hey Ronk,

Yes, I do know the term and arthropathy is a disease of the joints, any joint of the body can have arthropathy. A medical journal states "...that it involves inflammation of one or more joints, while the term arthropathy may be used regardless of whether there is inflammation or not..." Arthro means related to joints for example arthritis, can be classed as a form of arthropathy. Spondylarthropathy is any form of arthropathy of the vertebral column. Degenerative arthropathy a degenerative disease of the joints.

There is almost a differing form of .....arthropathy for every joint in the body, so it really is important to know which one they (the dr's) are talking about.

Hope it helps

Ronk...you may want to do more research,,,as my memory slips...I do the one term 'Sjogren's syndrome"....on Ben's Friends...notes so specifically the dry eyes /other including arthritis..(memory blanking..) tho I was begun on testing for Sjogren's syndrome...post the minimally invasive coiling procedure... Please update as you learn...wishes for your good recovery...comfort...whatever has been suggested to you?

thanks! um hip x ray was clear according to pcp drs office, so back to square one re hip pain, must be nerve damage or thats the generic explaination i will get i bet, tc xoxo

Ron, I thought my back pain was coming from my hip originally. It was lower lumbar. When I finally went into PT last year, the stupid therapist I was originally going to made my sacroiliac joint very painful. After going to what my doctor called the sacroiliac joint specialist, I found out that normal xrays/flouroscope does not show any difference within the joint. Sure enough, he gave me a steroid shot into my sacro joint and 2 days later the pain was gone in that joint. He told me that sacroiliac joint pain is often mistaken for hip pain because it is, well, in what I call the hip. I now know where to press to see if my joint is acting up.

Hope you get relief soon, Sherri

By the way, what can they do for your shoulder now?
