My headaches are alleviated with radio frequency shots

Hello everyone! I wanted to make everyone aware that my headaches are now minimal thanks to Radio Frequency shots where my craniotomy was performed. It took 2 months after the shot for the treatment to show its full effectiveness. I was usually getting headaches around the 7 mark and this has reduced them to a 2-3 mark! If you had a ruptured aneurysm and are suffering with headaches, let the Dr. know that you need to see a pain specialist about the RF shots.

Thank you for sharing Alex...glad you are able to get some relief from headaches...wishing you a good day ~ Colleen

Hi Alex,

I heard of radio frequency guided injections such as for botox or other injectable medications but I'm not sure what you mean? Could you mean Radio Frequency ablation? Thanks for any clarity.

Ed

Yes, radio frequency ablation. It takes a few months for it to get down to all the nerves but then it works like a charm (at least for me). I have heard from both sides about botox injections but have never tried one.

Here is the WebMD link for it in case anyone wants to look: http://www.webmd.com/pain-management/radiofrequency-ablation
