The BAF Headquarters in Massachusetts has contacted me with an invitation to Capitol Hill for Lobby Day in May of 2014. My story will be featured on the BAF website and the facebook page and I have been asked to write an article for the BAF newsletter. On January 20th, I will receive an honorary recognition in Pender County for all my efforts to "Put NC on the Map". I am so excited about these doors God is opening for me. God's abundance and grace is all around me and I am so blessed to speak for those who cannot. It is an honor to do this for all of the survivors and families who know first hand about this trauma. In memory for those who have passed, in honor of those who lived, and for those it has not happened to- I will have you on my heart when I share my testimony. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
