I am glad you were referred to a neurosurgeon. This is a good step in the right direction, and the fact that you have an appointment on the 18th of this month is wonderful. As worrisome as this process might be, you are taking the appropriate steps forward!
I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling scared and worried… and who can possibly blame you. I do hope you feel comfort in knowing that you are not alone. So many members of this community have been in a similar position. Many will relate to the sense of anxiety you describe. You are in the best hands possible, and your appointment is now only a few short days away!
I can see that you have already posted in the community, which is wonderful. I do hope you keep us updated… and fingers crossed that you receive a treatment plan soon. It sounds like you are in that awful stage of wondering WHAT is next and WHEN.
