Journaling - how does it help you?

Jeesh why did I forget this easy skill? Oh, I know, I don’t journal. Must be because I had older siblings that would get in my diary and laugh…

However journaling is a great way to reduce our angst. Much easier now than in the '60’s. Journaling helps us keep our hand eye coordination going. It puts thoughts into words for us to review later. We can use pen and paper, tablet, computer all with password protection if we must.

So the question - how does journaling help you? Just maybe one or more of you will help me return to my college days when I did keep a journal …

I found the journal helped me to remember my feelings when things weren’t going so well and to later realize what truely was going on. I also can liok back and relive the experience with a different mindset.

Karen, that’s a big positive for journaling. I might could use it when my partner tells me I’m not remembering something correctly. Pre rupture, my memory was scary sharp, now, not so much. Thanks!
