Inspiration for recovery-Joe Biden and

In this long slow bumpy road to recovery from brain surgery, just sharing some inspirational stories of recovery. During my hospitalization, Dr. Yu told me-don't worry, you'll eventually recover, think about Joe Biden. Feb 1988, Joe Biden had a craniotomy to clip an aneurysm, then in May 1988 he had a 2nd craniotomy to clip another aneurysm. Now, he's Vice President of the US. True inspiration from a recovery success, regardless of your political party. Please feel free to add more inspirational stories...

Thanks Jo,

From a fellow UTSW patient, we are truly blessed with some of the best neurosurgeons in the Dallas area.

Best wishes in your recovery.

Take care,

Tami

Thanks Nikki,

Best wishes on your 2nd craniotomy. You'll be blessed twice, just like our Vice President Joe Biden.

Take care,

Tami

everybody on here has a inspirational story, mine is i'm alive today and my dr told me its up to GOD.

Very true, we're all miracle stories, blessed by God :)

More inspiration:

Quincy Jones had a ruptured aneurysm back in 1974. He made a full recovery, producing Michael Jackson's hit album Thriller in 1982. He's led a busy life, composing, arranging, and playing music. Today, he's still doing well at the age of 79 :)

Hello Tami, hope you're well. I love these inspiration stories that you post.

Keep them coming girl.

Love from your oz pal

Oh I remember when I found this out about Joe Biden...very inspiring...and when he falls asleep during speeches and the news media catches him...I smile and say ... poor Joe's brain needs some rest...~ Thanks for sharing...Colleen

My inspiration is the survivors that we have here at BAF. There is no better inspiration than that!
