Hello,
51 female, I have a 4.5mm aneurysm on the Internal Carotid Arter ICA at the Terminus section.
Dr. Spetzler at Barrows recommends clipping
Dr. Dodds at Stanford Med Ctr. Recommends coiling
Dr. Lawton at UCSF - still waiting to hear back from

Wondering if anyone on this forum has had an aneurysm in the same location ICA Terminus - and how they treated and why?

Thanks so much!

I had a rupture that was coiled. It really depends on the size, shape, and doctor. I’d ask the docs why they recommend the procedure they picked.
