Archiving would stop that flood, but still make the discussions available on a search.
I'll leave it to you whether to delete or have it remain, Ron. As to discussions, generally speaking, discussions are for topics where you would like feedback from others, and blogs are more for personal reflections (rather than questions), but any topics that are within the guidelines are fine on the forum and don't have to be about aneurysms. Incidentally, there are a lot of folks over at AVM who are very grateful for the flooding video you posted (I reposted the link over there). It's a great video.

nope sorry I don’t like categories , cant find the filter to get rid of them!!
Its a late Version of 2. There are a number of issues with 3 including the lack of video, music, and a functioning multi lingual plug in that would eliminate roughly a third of membership network wide. More specific here, there would be no chat. There is also no search engine. There are massive management problems some of which have bled into Ning 2. The inability to auto delete semiphores and repack the data bases lead to some problems early this fall when a mod was deleting some spammers profiles the unpacked files surrounded some regular member profiles that were in part deleted.

thanks Edwardo, to me categories is only good for newbies who are fixated on one area, I liked viewing all the areas and immediately filtered for newest since I was on there daily, hopefully new way will work out- especially for newbies- even the user friendly old way was overwhelming as a newbie since I just got internet at my sah homecoming from 6 day coma, 9 week hospitalization in rehab. I'm thinking newbies should be priority one as they are the most vulnerable to being overwhelmed etc etc- the rest of us can hopefully adjust and move forward here, tc~

I can say that the newer platforms on the other forums turned out to be light-years better and though I dreaded the changes, the forums there were actually much easier to use and I liked them better afterwords .

ok I think its workable tj, I revisited it today 12/5 one thing tho, when I cliked ?my discussions" every single thing I typed is listed?? they are not my discussions but replies to others?? is this how you want it?
Ron you’re a trooper! When I go to my page, and click on Disscussions it is all responses I have made to others. It does say disscussion replied to but if you don’t want that, there’s a drop box to the right top that you can switch to discussions started
I couldn't find this and I found out why, I didn't know what category to look in. Turns out I didn't assign a category. Ones not assigned are in a separate place, so remember to assign a category but then you must remember the category, most will be obvious if you do forget. This is a slight problem for those like myself with memory deficit
