As of today I am back in the hospital so that I can be tested with antibiotics before the next surgery in August...My feelings about this are, a bit scared and oddly enough some anger...
I will meet with my neuro while I am here to talk about the upcoming surgery, that should be intresting...

Update- I have had two different antibiotics tested in the last 3 days and both I have reacted too...I am so sick of this now and just want to go home..From what I understand I get to go home for the weekend but have to return to the hospital on Monday to test other antibiotics..My neuro was in yesterday and explained to me about my up coming surgery in what is going to be late August...I got pics of my scan and how it looks without my skull bone..In the pic it almost looks like a halloween picture and if you look close it almost looks like two people dancing in my face..hahaha..

Up Date - The antibitioc didn’t work! I started reacting within 10 minutes…I was given meds to stop a major reaction but after just that little bit of reaction I was totally drained, no energy at all!! I will find out more when the specialists come in today…Like can I go home now…
Kimberley...please please do NOT go home too soon...you need all the testin...all the care...to have it all documented before your next surgery (is that August?)
I am not going home until they say it's ok. I did hear from the doctor that I might be able to go home for the weekend and then be back in the hospital on Monday for a fresh test..I am not exactly sure, just going to have to wait and see..
Kimerley, dear... you have special physicians who are tracking you...I pray for you that you are not released/sent home early...Your body is reacting / rejecting a lot...cherish your mds who care about you primary to other factors...
I pray for you that you will be kept in the hospital until any reactions are known / known to be cleared...remember that a reaction may not disappear/be cleared from your system in 6, 12, 24 hours... there's little worse on our systems than allergic reactions (and, there are more than is brought forward until it/they reach media coverage...the class-action level)
I was allowed to go home for the weekend and had to return again this morning. I woke up this morning and had once again broke out all over plus I had a major headache and just feeling like I had not an ounce of energy. Once I returned to the hospital the doctor said that we would have to hold off anymore testing until I have stopped reacting.This afternoon I started getting blisters on one of my hands. (I hate blisters) I am once again on high doses of antihistim & cortison. I am getting very tired of this today. There is always tomorrow and hope :-)
