Aneurysm erruption and brain Anoxia

My father who had an aneurysm erruption two weeks ago is still in a comma. The MRI indicated a Diffuse Anoxid Injury involving areas of the frontal and parietal lobes. That means that when the erruption occurred the brain was deprived from oxygen and that causes death of the brain cells. What I do not know is weather anoxic injuries are often combined with aneurysm ruptures. Is there anyone who survived or has a relative that survived from an aneurysm that was also diagnosed to have an anoxic injury?I would like to know a little more about it.

Hi Dimitris...My good thoughts and prayers to your father and family...I did not have an anoxic injury but I was in a coma for 9 weeks. The brain has a miraculous way of rebounding after trauma - keep the faith and be patient.
