My goodness I feel so lucky my Dr. (new Dr.) Took my symptoms serious and sent me for an MRI (MRA) asap - I've been in the ER where they just treated me for blood pressure headache and moved on..... She didn't think twice and sent me for the test.

Monica,

Please check with a neurosurgeon as it's easier getting the aneurysms fixed before they rupture. I've had 3 ruptures and the last I almost dismissed as a stress headache but went to the ER. Sure enough, I had one that ruptured. It's better to be safe than sorry.  Don't let them dismiss it as a migraine. It's a silent killer and early detection saves lives. GET A SECOND OPINION IF NECESSARY. You'll need an MRI, but better yet an angiogram.

I am trying to find info. on this subject.. I have had severe headaches with this burning in my ears. There have been times when the headaches and ear burning are followed by a seizure but not always. The other day my head hurt so bad, I had to sit @ work for a minute. Then noticed my left eye looked swole or like my eye fell. I haven't shared this w/ my neuro. yet. I'm afraid he is missing this and I don't know what to do. My neurologist, my family doctor, and the e-n-t specialist cannot figure out why I have the headaches with burning ears, but they none of them have ever mentioned or tested me for an aneurysm??
