Our situation was different than yours in that it was survival for my wife, so we did not have the luxury of deciding different forms of treatment. In fact, the doctors said, If it’s this, we’ll do this, and If it’s that, we’ll do that. We just accepted their recommendation, and it was for the best. If you have doctors you respect, they will likely recommend and do what is best for you. My wife had coiling, and six months later a bit more coiling with a stent. The result has been good. I personally did not have the wisdom/knowledge to decide what kind of treatment she should have, and she was unconscious at the time. We are thankful we had good doctors.
Had complications…yes good docs can be a blessing
