Well now it's my turn to go for my 1st year follow up brain angiogram next week on the 20th. Haven't been really active on this site in awhile. Been a bad few months. Lost my younger brother very suddenly in Canada just before Christmas, my husband just got laid off last friday and I get to look forward (NOT) to the angio next week.........wow......Hopefully things will start to turn around.

Everything went well yesterday and I do not have to go back for another angio for 2 years! Yeah!!
Boy, that heat from the constrast when released is a really weird sensation??!! Nothing intolerable though guys!
BTW, the drugs were not so great either. :(
I was quite mentally intact, or so I thought? Thanks to all, for your support. As always, it means the world to me!

I appreciate the thoughts and prayers Ron & Rose........starting to get really nervous that something will show up and will have to be fixed and just having the angiogram period. Some people really have a rough time with it.

I am very sorry for the loss of your brother and your husband's loss of his job.  I have found that stressors like these are very challenging.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I also hope that your angio goes well this week.  I am now 3 and 1/2 years after my SAH and I can relate to the dread that accompanies the yearly visit.  Be strong!  You were so strong during your recovery and I hope you can tap into that now. Each of us can only deal with the present and only with one thing at a time.  So this week is your time to care for yourself and I wish you well.
