I can not imagine having a brain aneurysm and getting hit in the head lightly or otherwise would be a good idea. The workout part may be fine as long as no heavy weights are involved. But getting any head blows should probably be ruled out.

Hi Jim,
I am not medically trained but i would hazard a guess that getting hit round the head probably wouldn't be a very good idea for your long term good health. It certainly didn't do Mohamed Ali any favours. If you're just talking about training with no physical contact then possibly OK. But seriously Jim please rethink - it sounds a bit dangerous.

Comment by Colleen on February 8, 2013 at 5:36pm Hi Jim...again Welcome to BAF ~
Have you checked with your Neurologist/Neurosurgeon?
I do kick boxing and not a problem...but this is me alone...no one able to hit me in the head...
Hope you get some more answers from others ... Wishing you a nice weekend...~ Colleen
